  1. :51 can you give me an example of a scratch sample or sound? Does it have to be looped? How would it sound if you had something playing on the second channel?

  2. keeping it great and simple instructions, very good tutorial.  the last part put a smile on my face, loved scratching since it was born, back in th days of chad Jackson 1986, thanks.

  3. I don't usually comment on these videos, but really wanted to say THANK YOU for making this!  I've been a DJ for a lot of years and scratching is something I have struggled with.  This is the best, most broken down, "How To," video I've ever seen and feel like it has provided the direction I need to practice effectively.  Your work, time, and knowledge put into this tutorial is greatly appreciated 🙂

  4. Hello Christian Boykin, just search scratch samples in iTunes. You can get a bunch there. Or you can try key word search in google. The best way is to make your own. Listen the the first sounds on classic rock and funk tracks. Cut hat sound and your good to go. Also seek "fresh" and "ahh yeah"

  5. yeo im looking to start djing. Does anybody know what i should buy if i want to scratch and remix people s voice and possible mix. (It would help if it isnt too expensive)thanks
