  1. Hahah, thisis what I've been always doing ;D works very well for me. But I do it slightly different: First, I make folders by sections of the night (warm-up, dancy, club, hard), then I make the folders inside each of these folders, like "Just starting; Building up; All In". Then when I'm done with, for example "All in" folder of the "Warm-up" folder, I can switch to "dancy" and start with "just starting" – that folder has tracks which are lowest in energy in the "dancy" folder, but higher than the tracks of "all in" in warm-up folder. Idk if it's understandable. I always prioritize the energy as first, then the feeling/vibe as second. Every energy level has happy vibes for example. So if you put together all the happy vibes, you end up having slow and fast songs…#1 energy #2 vibe (IMO)

  2. Key mixing is secondary to this. EG. A) Not 19 Forever – Courteeners (A Major) try following up with B) This Charming Man – The Smiths (A Major). A) is wall of sound guitar and B) is more restrained and deliberate. Different energies, same key. Maybe I'm just agreeing and saying that there is more to DJing than just mixing in key.

  3. you are a clever and inspiring person. There is so much arrogance on YouTube in ( channel owners), that triggers loads of subscribers to react shitty.

you seem humble. you might be the best and most pragmatic DJ but you do not brag bout it!
