How much does a dj cost in Vancouver?

All DJs in Vancouver are independent so there is no fixed price for a Vancouver DJs services. However, based on experience, I have found that most Vancouver DJs cost between $500 and $2000 per event for the very talented, professional event djs down to $100 to $500 for the very new DJs with very little experience. Once a DJ has worked on many Vancouver events, then he can start charging more money.

I offer dj courses to anyone since I am able to teach anyone how to DJ. Each student dj is different, but on average, I can have an individual confidently djing solo within 10 lessons.

What does a DJ use to make music?

The setup for being a DJ is quite simple. All you need is 2 sources of music and a mixer. As far as bare bones dj rigs go…that would be the simplest. The 2 music sources can also come from the same source, just split into 2. What I mean is if you are using a laptop as an audio source, you would need 2 sound cards. One for record 1 and one for record 2. They would both go into the dj mixer and the DJ would mix between the 2 songs coming out of the laptop.

Do you provide djing lessons?

Of course! If you have even wanted to learn how to dj or just want to give it a try, I am able to offer one on one lessons.
