  1. I like how you explained about Sync, I think it's a great feature, If some people don't like it, Don't use it, as simple as that. If you don't like a Yellow car, don't buy one. 🙂

  2. A lot of my friends who started spinning the same time I started 35 years ago quit because they sucked. Their skills just weren't there. Sync allows today's DJ's who suck not to quit so easily. It's a fail safe program and a smart tool installed by the software maker. You get more people to buy the product. What it will never do for you is Sync you into the crowd that your playing for. That's where talent, taste and timing comes in and that's what makes a great DJ.

  3. Well said buddy! I am a sync button guy because I don't have time to dick around. I have other things to do. Btw, my traktor S4 has a quantize button that allows hotcues to trigger on beat. It's a nice feature but I am switching to Serato DJ soon.

  4. I agree.. Its all the old school HATING ass djs who hate on sync. Its should be industry standard. If i was a club owner and the dj didnt use sync, He wouldnt play cause im not having him trainwreck all night. I can mix BOTH ways flawlessly BUT like when im doing my finances, I like to use a calculator to free my mind and hands for other things 🙂

  5. Dude, big like ! Finally someone explained the difference in the Sync colors properly.
    PS: I got a DDJ-SX too, loving it 🙂

  6. I know i'm going to sound stupid. But I need some help. I have been using VDJ for the past few years and when I use sync on it always worked good. Now I am switching to serato dj.(with ddj sx) and I am having trouble syncing tracks. I hit sync. and it sound like shit. they don't sound in line at all. I don't understand what i'm doing wrong.

  7. you hit it on the nail, when you in the mix you dont have time for no mess ups especially when you making a mix. I love the sync , but people fail to realize you still have to beat match.
