Great space to hold a small party. Good experience with staff, facility manager actually showed up on day of my event to make sure I knew where everything was and helped make sure we could access garbage and recycling. Definitely would recommend for small events.

Familiar for the sole reason of being economic / affordable. Parking seems to be the primary concern and finding a street parking especially in rush hours might pose to be a challenge. As for the interiors flooring looks relatively new. Chairs are ok, but combination of 2 to 3 models. Kitchen entrance if made wider might make it more accessible and easy. Lighting may be prepped up with good LED lights to make it look better. Main Entrance door gets stuck a bit while opening.

The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it was affordable and that it had four walls and a roof. The place itself is extremely filthy. The kitchen is not usable. Unless you want to get sick. There are dirty dishes in cupboards, hot water and coffee pots in complete rust, paint chipping off the stairs to the stage that has missing curtains, and stains all over the walls by the bathrooms.

The chairs are stained on the seats to the point it is embarrassing to even use them and some are nearly broken with missing arm rests or a back that is about to completely fall off. The space is also not anywhere near accommodating 90 seated guests as advertised.

Dealing with the rental guy, Kayvon, was a complete and utter nightmare. When first meeting him he was super personable and professional. Then it went all downhill from there.

We were told for an additional 50$ flat rate we could have the space for the whole day. And because of the extensive decor we decided we needed the full day and so paid for it.

About a month or so later closer to the event date we had scheduled a day and time to pick up the key and pay the fee and deposit. I texted Kayvon to confirm it. He had no clue who I was. After looking into his documents, he confirmed it via email and we went to his office.

Upon arriving, he had absolutely no clue who we were with the most blank stare on his face. We paid the money, received the key and went on our way.

Come the day of the event, we are there setting up from 8 am when in walks a gentleman saying he has the place booked from 10 am to 12 pm from a yacht club on a regular basis. I told him there must be a mistake since I had paid for the full day which technically starts at 12 am.

We called Kayvon, left a voicemail, no response. The gentleman finally left. We continued with our event.

Kayvon never did return our calls or voicemail but wrote me an email saying that we stole someone else’s time that had it booked for a senior tai chi program and that we had it from 10 am and not the full day. Except the gentleman that had been there showed me an email saying he had it until 12 pm. And he was from a yacht club.

In conclusion, this Kayvon individual had no clue as to what was going on, what times were booked or with who, and was completely and utterly disorganized with no clue as to what was going on. He also kept 30$ from our deposit because we apparently stole someone else’s time.

Do not book here. Pay a little bit more and get a clean organized place that knows what is going on.
