  UBC Farm   — UBC

The UBC Farm is one of the most unique wedding venues in Vancouver because it’s an actual real working farm which grows over 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables. Not only is it capable of hosting a wedding, the farm also has many events including farm tours, research visits, community feasts and a farmers markets. Planning an event at this location requires some effort (so I would recommend hiring a wedding planner to help you with this one) but is would be totally worth it if you’re dreaming of an outdoors rustic wedding while remaining only minutes away from downtown Vancouver. Please Note: the UBC Farm is not available for events on Sundays.

MOA Museum of Anthropology   — UBC

The often overlooked Museum of Anthropology was designed by Arthur Erickson and is one of those Vancouver wedding venues that many couples don’t think about. However, I’ll let you in on a small secret…. it can accommodate smaller gatherings. Even though it is best known around Vancouver for its huge and elaborate affairs. I have seen several amazing weddings with an elegant and refined aesthetic—parties under the stars with a breath taking view of the Georgia Strait.
