A code of ethics or ethics policy is a business text that outlines professional values that djBJöRN’s employees and representatives are expected to always follow. It specifically centers on what is required during customer/client interactions. Our ethics policy creates standards that hold business representatives accountable.

Most business codes of ethics are values-based and specify ways to establish and maintain integrity and a positive reputation for the business. What does this mean for our valued customers? It means always being treated with honesty and respect from your vendors.
At djBJöRN’s Event DJ Services, we’ve created our own code of ethics:
- We will never drink, or fraternize on the job. Our clients can rest assured that he or she will always receive our undivided attention and focus when servicing any event- no hinderances.
- A signed agreement is respected and binding. A client’s date is “locked in” and will never be cancelled or overthrown. Too often we hear of circumstances where a DJ has cancelled services at the last minute for a client. Many times it is because another opportunity has come along- offering more hours and/or higher pay. There is no dollar amount that could dissuade us from following through on providing promised services to our clients. If the event has been contracted, it is our main focus and we are dedicated to delivering on all our agreements
- We will continuously educate ourselves in all musical trends and latest sound/lighting techniques so that we can ensure we are providing the current, optimal level of service to all our clients.
We invest so much of our lives to DJing because we are zealous about what we do and we value all our clients. It’s an honor to service a client. When a client chooses us, they are inviting us to be a part of an important moment in their lives. What an amazing opportunity it is to assist someone with celebrating a special event! Our valued clients are the reason that our DJ business continues to exist. We treat every event as if it is of the utmost importance. We love this quote:

djBJöRN DJ Services and Event Entertainment believes a professional DJ should:
Always strive for 100% client satisfaction.
Offer a written contract.
Use only professional DJ and audio equipment. We only use industry standard Pioneer DJ equipment, Serato Pro DJ Software and Yorkville audio systems.
Obey all provincial and municipal laws.
DJs must not consume alcohol before or during any event.
Dress in a suit at formal Events.
Be ready to perform by the specified event start time.
Act and speak in a polite, respectful and professional manner.
Continually undertake DJ training & development to increase performance & business skills.
Not participate in any discriminatory behaviour whatsoever.
Safeguard and respect the privacy of our customers.
