DJBjorn has been a professional DJ for almost 25 years now. His first 5 years were as a resident DJ at various clubs around the world and over 20 years as an event DJ in Vancouver. All of DJBjorn’s backup DJs have over 15 years of experience DJing too.

We have experience DJing for weddings, corporate events, school dances, private functions, birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, raves, festivals, nightclubs, grand openings, sales events, open houses, sporting events, conventions, beach parties, mobile parties, staff parties, yacht parties, boat cruises, fireworks events, holiday dances and even house parties.

We are a one stop shop. We DJ events, we provide audio and video equipment for events. We can even rent out our event equipment to you and YOU DJ your event if you would like. Just let us know what you wish to do and we will try our hardest to accomodate your wishes.

Yes you can. Once we have enough information regarding your event, we will create and send you a price quote for your specific event. The quote will be valid for 48 hours from time of delivery. If you accept the quote for the services outlined in it, then we require a 50% deposit to lock in the date for our DJ services and/or our event staff. By sending a deposit, you agree to the price quote and the services to be provided.

Often, it will be DJBjorn himself. If not, DJBjorn currently has 8 highly experienced DJs that can play all genres of music at all types of functions if DJBjorn is unavailable; Please see our DJ Roster on DJBjorn.com.  The disc jockey for your event will be selected based on your preferences and their availabilities.  The earlier you book our DJ services, the higher the odds of getting the DJ that you desire.

We can only hold event dates with an accepted quote and a 50% deposit. From our initial interaction, if available, we will temporarly hold your date for up to 48 hours.

We strongly recommend it and offer a complimentary, no obligation consultation; this way we will have a mutual agreement as to how the event should run.  We can meet with you face-to-face for a consultation, but we will gladly accommodate clients who prefer a skype/facetime/zoom, phone call or e-mail consultation.

Yes, DJBjorn does offer all his services outside of Vancouver. We can accommodate events in surrounding areas and even further afield, depending on availability and travel arrangements. Please contact us with your event details to discuss your location and any additional arrangements that may be required.

It’s best to book DJBjorn at least 6 to 12 months in advance for your event to ensure availability, especially for peak seasons and popular dates. Booking early allows for ample time to discuss your preferences, plan the details, and make any necessary adjustments for a seamless experience.

DJBjorn offers weddings tailored music playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, along with high-quality sound equipment and backup options. He can provides MC services for announcements and timeline management, dance floor lighting, and uplighting to match the wedding theme. Additionally, he coordinates ceremony music, takes guest requests, and hosts interactive activities to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for your special day.

To book DJBjorn for your corporate event, simply visit our website at www.djbjorn.com, fill out the booking form with your event details, and submit your request. If DJBjorn himself is available, he can be your event DJ, if not, one of his experienced, professionaly trained DJs will perform in his place. You can also contact us directly via email or call us for a consultation to discuss your specific needs and confirm availability. Once the details are finalized, we’ll send you a booking agreement to secure your date.

Anything and everything is the short answer. The longer answer is : we have a music library which contains well over 500,000 songs and growing. We have music covering every single genre of music under the sun. Hip Hop, EDM, Country, Rock and Roll, House, Drum and Bass, Techno, Oldies, 80’s, 90’s, Progressive House, R & B, Pop, Top 40, Alternative, Grunge, Heavy Metal and many many more.

Of course. Our music library contains 1000’s of international songs in dozens of languages. Over the years we have collected the music requests from all our events . These include Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Russian, Thai, Korean, German, Dutch, French, Swedish as well as Japanese weddings and several more.

Yes, DJ Bjorn can play music from an event guest’s mobile phone. We can connect to devices via Bluetooth or an auxiliary input, allowing guests to request and play their favorite songs during the event. Just make sure to inform us in advance so we can accommodate this smoothly. Keep in mind that nearly all streaming services use extremely low quality music files to allow faster streaming. This means they tend to have poor sound quality when played over high end audio equipment. These streaming services only intended to have their customers listen to music with earbuds or headphones.

Yes, of course. If you’re planning a themed party, we’de be happy to play a genre of music you feel will suit your event perfectly.

DJBjorn and his crew have performed all over Vancouver and surrounding areas; hotels, legion halls, small town rinks, etc. We can accommodate any event. If the venue is not familiar to us, we will inspect it prior to your event to make sure everything we need is available.
