Our wedding reception last September 2019 was held @ Riverside Palace. My wife and I were so happy with the decor. The banquet hall looked very elegant and regal. The food was superb and just plentiful. All the dishes were very appetizing, especially the roast lamb (the most popular dish, our guests continue to rave about it). Thank you to Bobby, Sue, Michael, Raj, and the whole team @ Riverside Palace for going above and beyond in making our special day very memorable!!! Our wedding was in Feb 2023, we had ordered there top menu for dinner which was the middle eastern menu. Just our catering had cost us $19K, when discussed with the hall staff they explained the food to be excellent however that was not the service we saw. We had chicken and kebab skewers they were super dry to the point everyone had left their chicken skewers on their plates. All the food was cold from the start of the buffet, and we had made sure with the hall staff that we wanted out food to be hot. They had mentioned salads and sides that would be in the buffet but they were not. They had falafel that was uncooked only the outer shell was cooked but the interior was raw. As for the ladies in the kitchen were very rude we had brought our own baklava and had told them we would be taking it home and as soon as the kitchen ladies not staff that was on floor heard we would be taking our baklava home they took everything in the trays and stack them up on top of on another until there was nothing in the trays felt. This was something that was spent on our own budget. As well we had made pots of foods on our own and when i went into the kitchen to take my pots they had put the wrong lid for my pot. When I confronted them they said this is your lid take it. Until i told them i would not leave without my proper lid. Everything being said we paid $31K for the wedding but didnt see the right service in return.

I would give 0 stars if I had to. This banquet hall is all about the money and doesn’t care about service and customer satisfaction. So glad my own events were cancelled here due to Covid. This review is for all the events I’ve attended. Dealing with Sue was the worst part of trying to book here. They make you pay your entire bill 2 weeks before your event, that way you can’t even argue with them afterwards. Food is below mediocre. Decor looks tacky and very old school.

I would like to thank Sue for everything she did for us, She was very helpful and enjoyable to work with, even through all the Covid and postponing the dates she was there to help us through it. Then the day before the wedding the groom called it off. Sue suggested we use the venue anyway since we payed a lot of money for it she said just have a party in which we did , it was so nice we had a family reunion party. We all had fun. Thank you again Sue. I would recommend this venue To anyone.

My wife and I Had our wedding and reception at Riverside.
We mostly dealt with Bobby and Sue. They were both extremely accommodating to our needs and we’re very easy to work with. I would have to say that they went above our expectations they delivered on there end all our decor, seating,and food were proper.
We had the Fijian menu and the food tasted Fijian style and it was delicious.
Overall we had a blast and it all went smooth. I would recommend Riverside for your next function.
