Chapel at Minoru Park is amazing for all romantic events in Richmond.
Our daughter and son-in-law got married Aug 2023. A perfect day! It is a smaller size wedding venue. We had our own officiant. Allan patiently facilitated, gave suggestions, and guided us. It is picturesque.

My wife wants taking some fall pictures of Minoru Park but it was closed for renovation. It’s so bad but we still can have a little walk in Chapel at Minoru Park and the surrounding area.
Then this is the first time we visit the huge lawn area besides the chapel.
This chapel is pretty all year round.
There are lot of rabbits stay in this park and they are not afraid of people. Maybe too many people feeding them but there are a sign asking people not feeding the wild life.
The little chapel and garden are pretty in summer.
We want to thank Minoru Chapel and their staff so much for everything with our wedding. The venue was stunning and intimate. We were very happy and it was a great evening. The harpist did a beautiful job and gave our wedding an elegant touch. The chapel bells ringing upon us leaving were a nice throwback. We were grateful for everything. It was raining there for my daughters wedding but we got some amazing photos anyway… there is a nice little room on the side for the bride to get ready and the pastor is amazing and flash photography is allowed😊.
Beautiful chapel located in Minoru Park, Richmond. This small white wooden chapel was constructed in 1891 on the corner of River Road and Cambie Road from plan 109 supplied by the Methodist Board of Church Extension and was run by the Methodist Church, and later by the United Church.
The chapel was originally built by the Fraser River so that it could easily be reached by boat as during that period Richmond had very few roads. The chapel was renovated and moved to Minoru Park in 1967. Its convenient location and historical charm make it a popular place to get married, especially during the summer months.
