I have only been here as a guest for an event so I don’t know what the experience would be like for coordinating one with the venue.
Overall the venue is fairly good, bathrooms and banquet area were clean. The food was very good, appetizers were nice and the butter chicken was excellent.
The main reason for the three star review is the water in the jugs on each table is absolutely disgusting. Tastes very strongly of chemicals and is straight up gross, I don’t understand how that can happen.
There may actually be something wrong with the water because it tastes off. Everyone at our table tried it and agreed, we even got a different water jug and it tasted the same. Luckily there were soft drinks available but it was definitely weird considering we are in metro Vancouver where even our tap water tastes better.

My wife and I recently got married at Riverside Palace in Aug 2023. It was such a pleasure to work with Bobby and Sue!!! Throughout the whole process, both were VERY HANDS ON and their attention to detail was exceptional. Bobby, being the owner, was very impressive as he was working our event and made sure everything went smoothly. Sue is such a wonderful woman and she genuinely cared about making sure our day was PERFECT. Her notes are very thorough and we had 100% confidence in Sue’s ability to get the job done. The decorations were SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! Food was outstanding and our guests were extremely happy. Bobby and Sue exceeded all our expectations regarding our wedding and we are beyond grateful to them and the staff of Riverside Palace for making our special day, so awesome!!!

Sue and the team did a great job with the decor, catering, and ease of access to the
venue on our wedding day on October 23, 2021. The decor was beautiful, and they really try to make sure you enjoy your wedding day. Sue and the team were quick to reply through phone call, and they always recommend to call or email them for any questions whatsoever. Our floor wrap was not completed as emailed, and they were quick to reply back and ensure that our balance would be adjusted. Even with the COVID restrictions, they really try to make sure the
wedding reception was beautiful and full of fun. The food/catering was delicious, the cilantro fish was a guest favorite. Not only do they cater, but if you have any extra food that you want to bring, they communicate with you to ensure you have hot plates to keep the food warm. We had a few filipino dishes that we brought, and the catering team did well with my coordinator to present the food well. Thank you Sue!
