We recently got married at the Gallery by Pavilion and absolutely loved this space! From the beautiful modern design throughout the entire venue, to the expansive patio that overlooks the city and mountains, we were sold at our first viewing. Even though it poured rain on our wedding day, the tents setup on the patio provided a cozy atmosphere for our ceremony and cocktail hour and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We took full advantage of all the features like the BBQ’s, coffee bar, projectors on the wall, and even the staircase that is full of light, concrete and glass which made for some beautiful photos. We also love the area that this venue is located in, so conveniently located and in such a great part of the city! Will definitely be recommending this space to others.

The Gallery at the Pavilion is such a unique event space for the city. So many modern finishes throughout the entire space and even in the gorgeous restrooms. The highlight of the space has to be the grand outdoor roof deck patio with expansive views of Vancouver’s downtown’s skyline! ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Perfect place for private event. Insta style stagings with well established hygiene facilities. Love the patio. The event faculties are nice and gorgeous. Definitely will visit again.
The Gallery at Pavilion is one of the most beautiful spaces we’ve had the pleasure of serving! The space comes complete with a full bistro kitchen, a beautiful contemporary indoor space and a breath-taking rooftop patio overlooking Vancouver. The staff at The Gallery are also amazing to work with! Definitely the perfect space for any event.
As a former event coordinator and bride to be, this is the most disappointing venue I’ve ever encountered. Although this space is undeniably beautiful, there was a lack of customer service, almost nonexistent communication, and multiple discrepancies between their advertising and promises.
After receiving confirmation that our desired date of July 16th 2022 was available and put on hold for us, we awaited our contract to sign. A whole week went by with nothing. Finally, I decided to follow up, which we were then informed that they are “fully booked for weddings up until 2024”. We had to fight to get our date of July 16th approved, but it was quite the process since Clarissa took forever to respond to emails, while Vanessa never even bothered to respond to a single email.
Their wedding brochure is incredibly misleading. It states that you can book “Saturday All Day” for $8400 or “Friday evening” for $6300. When asked about the set up time, we quickly found out that BOTH have a 3pm access time to the venue for setup, and if we want additional time it’s $1500 per extra hour. We then tried to switch to Friday (which they told us was available) to save us a bit of $$, but they refused to let us switch and said it was too late (even though we haven’t even signed a contract yet). They also promised us that security would be covered by the venue but then they proceeded to charge us in the quote. Regardless of all the red flags, we decided we still wanted to move forward because we really liked the space, but merely hours after making our decision, we received an automatic “Your contract has been voided” email. No personalized email coming directly from their team, not even a follow up to see if we’ve made a decision yet – just an automatic email sent by their 3rd party program.
In the end, we ended up moving our event elsewhere and in hindsight, it was the best decision we’ve made in our wedding planning process. No bride or event coordinator should ever have to go through the stress of dealing with the Gallery. Unless there are big changes made to how they operate, I would not recommend the Gallery for any event.
